Natural
Falls State Park is a state park in the Ozark Mountains of Oklahoma. The falls in Natural Falls State Park is known to locals as Dripping Springs Falls. At 77 feet tall the waters of the Dripping Springs fall as far as Turner Falls in the Arbuckle Mountains. Making the two falls the tallest in Oklahoma. When Dripping Springs Falls became a State Park, Oklahoma renamed the park Natural Falls State Park because there was already a Dripping Springs State Park near Okmulgee, south of Tulsa, west of Muskogee. |

The 77 foot waterfall in Natural Falls State Park cascades down
a rocky cliff into a V-shaped valley, creating a peaceful, oasis atmosphere. A
raised observation station gives park visitors an overlook of the falls, while a
wood planked trail leads to a viewing platform at the base of the falls. Natural Falls State Park has 44 RV campsites and 27 tent sites. The Red Fern Reunion Center is used for events like weddings or other group events. You will also find picnic shelters, horseshoes, basketball court, playgrounds and catch and release fishing. |

There are 3 1/2 miles of nature trail to hike on in Natural Falls State Park. In the thick forest in Natural Falls State Park you will find maples, chinquapin and white oak, with the forest floor covered with sassafras, coral berry, redbed, spicebrush, pawpaw blanket and dogwood. The mist from the waterfall makes an environment conducive for mosses and ferns to flourish. | |||
