touted the fact that the area had San Solomon Springs to provide water in the
San Solomon Springs is now known as Balmorhea State
Park. The park has a
motel, camping sites for both tents and trailers, hot showers and a huge
walled swimming pool that is fed by the springs at a rate of up to 26 million
gallons a day. It's 62,000 square foot surface makes this pool one of the
largest man-made pools in America.
