In this Six Flags Video we follow 3 teenagers as they wander
around Six Flags and ride the roller coasters. Like the Titan Hypercoaster,
the Texas Giant, Batman: The Ride, Mr. Freeze, Runaway Mountain &
Flashback. You'll also see Superman Power of Tower.
In this Six Flags Over Texas Video you get to ride the Titan
Hypercoaster. It was built by Giovanola in 2001, 3 years before the
thrill ride manufacturer went bankrupt. Titan climbs a 245 foot hill and
then falls 255 feet into a 120 tunnel. After the tunnel the ride takes a
long turn followed by more ups and downs including two 540 degree
helixes and several over-banked turns. It took 2.8 million pounds of
steel to build Titan.
In this Six Flags Over Texas Video you get to ride Batman:
The Ride. Built in 1999 this is an inverted roller coaster. The
first drop falls 109 feet, inches at up to 50 mph. This roller
coaster is sort of like a ski lift on steroids.
In this Six Flags Over Texas Video you get to ride the Texas
Giant wooden roller coaster. When it was built in 1990 the Texas Giant
was the tallest wooden roller coaster in the world at 143 feet. In 1999 the
Texas Giant was named Best Wooden Roller Coaster in the world.
In this Six Flags Over Texas Video you get to ride Mr.
Freeze. This ride is part of the Super Hero theme part of the park
that doesn't seem to have anything to do with any of the Six Flags that have
been over Texas. Mr. Freeze was played by the Governor of California, Arnold
Schwarzenegger in the movie Batman & Robin. So, there's Batman: The Ride,
Mr. Freeze and Superman Tower of Power
