Searching passenger manifests archived at www.ellisislandrecords.org/ we were unable to find the transit records of the original American Slotemakers. However, our search did turn up an interesting surprise about another Slotemaker---A. Cornelis Slotemaker. The Ellis Island Records website has the complete passenger manifest in its original form providing many details about those onboard. But it is a laborious process to go through the documents in search of one name and as yet we have not located the complete records of this unknown Slotemaker. So, we don't know if he was migrating or just visiting, where he went once in America, if he was meeting relatives, or any personal details such as color of eyes and height. These are the sort of details provided in the passenger manifests. So far that which is below is all the information we have been able to locate on A. Cornelis Slotemaker. But we will keep looking and when we find more details we will add them.
