Slotemaker Farm 1912

Slotemaker Farm, 1912, the view is from the east 
with the Cascade foothills behind us, looking west.
Originally called the "North Prairie Farm", 
the soil was peat (black soil) and had an area
that didn't need to be cleared. The identity of the
people in the photo is not known. It is believed they
are not Slotemakers. It is thought the 'X' on the photo
marks the location of the soon to be built barn.
